Ukraine’s defence minister has said he had a “frank dialogue” alongside with his German counterpart about Germany’s Leopard 2 tanks, which Kyiv is urgently requesting to confront Russian armour.
Germany has no longer but made up our minds whether to send the tanks to Ukraine, or allow other worldwide locations to donate theirs, despite strain on Berlin to act.
“We had a frank dialogue on Leopards 2. To be persevered,” Oleksii Reznikov said after meeting Western allies.
Kyiv is to gain many other Nato weapons.
