The usual responsible of Ukraine’s counter-offensive in the south has acknowledged Russian defences are making it advanced for armed forces equipment, including Western tanks and armoured automobiles, to circulate forward.
Gen Oleksandr Tarnavskyi acknowledged his forces are struggling to conquer multi-layered minefields and fortified defensive traces.
It comes as Russia’s president Vladimir Putin confirmed there is been “intensified” combating in southern Ukraine.
