These trains are Europe’s first tri-mode trains to enter passenger service, after initiating running on routes in Italy on the stop of 2022.
To boot to being fitted with pantograph overhead energy and a mature diesel engine, they also dangle with a battery pack energy unit and must be switched between modes.
